S5O-00179: Peter Chapman (North East Scotland)

Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party

Date lodged: 14 September 2016

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update on funding for NHS Grampian.

Answered by: Shona Robison 22 September 2016

In 2016-17, NHS Grampian’s resource budget increased to £882.3 million. This was a 6.6% uplift on the previous year - the highest increase of any Territorial Health Board.

As is the case with all other Health Boards, the NHS Grampian budget for 2017-18 will be agreed as part of the forthcoming Spending Review and Budget Bill process, which will be subject to approval by the Scottish Parliament.
