Tackling Tree Health threats remains a top priority for the Scottish Government and its approach to preventing the spread of diseases that affect woodlands is set out in the Scottish Plant Health Strategy. This focusses on risk based decision making to reduce the likelihood of pests arriving in the UK, and the early detection and response should they do so.
