Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party

Date lodged: 26 April 2017

To ask the Scottish Government what priority treatment and services are available for veterans on the NHS.

Answered by: Shona Robison 3 May 2017

The Scottish Government is committed to ensuring that all UK armed forces veterans living in Scotland are able to access the best possible NHS care and support.

Veterans are entitled to receive priority treatment and services for health problems they have sustained as a result of serving their country, subject to the clinical needs of all patients.
