S5W-10145: Mike Rumbles (North East Scotland)

Scottish Liberal Democrats

Date lodged: 5 July 2017

To ask the Scottish Government how much (a) Broadband Development UK, (b) local authorities, (c) BT and (d) other organisations have spent on delivering superfast broadband in the North East Scotland parliamentary region in the last 12 months.

Answered by: Fergus Ewing 28 July 2017

With reference to PQs S5W-10143 and S5W-10144 (answered on 27 July 2017), as Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband (DSSB) is a national programme which is being managed through two regional contracts – one covering the Highlands & Islands region, the other covering the rest of Scotland, it is not possible to provide delivery costs at a Parliamentary constituency level.
