Scottish Liberal Democrats

Date lodged: 9 October 2017

To ask the Scottish Government on what date the final report of the International Council of Education Advisers will be published and what role (a) ministers, (b) special advisers and (c) its officials will have in its drafting and editing.

Answered by: John Swinney 25 October 2017

The final report of the International Council of Education Advisers will be published at the end of the current 2 year appointment of the Council in 2018. The report will be drafted by the Secretariat in consultation with, and on behalf of, the Council. Ministers and special advisers will see the report in advance of publication, but the final wording will be a matter for the Council.
